Tourist attractions: forest hiking and cycling trails. Liebenwalde town hall with museum, manor houses, farm shops and of course the waterways with locks.

Health care: The village has a general practitioner, dentist, bakery, 2 discount grocery stores, watchmaker, florist, post office, savings bank, hairdressers, fire brigade, harbour and restaurants, pizza and asylum snack service, petrol station, daycare centres, schools, small businesses and much more...

Transport connections: Currently only public bus lines. 
The direct railway connection to Berlin is to be re-established/activated by 2030.

Location: In the town centre of Liebenwalde. Although the town centre is a listed building, the property is not subject to monument protection.
